Leased lines and how they work

Leased line is the line connecting the telecommunications symmetric separating the two areas together. In Britain, the line rental is often referred to as Data Lines or Private Circuits. They do not have a phone number, but instead of each side of the line will be permanently connected to the other.

There are several different reasons why the leased line may be necessary, including;


  • For telephone service

  • Data services

  • Internet services



While in many cases leased lines which should change with metro Ethernet and DSL lines, they still have so much in prayer.

New operating lease involves only pay rent and no access fee must be paid to put leased line operation. All it really requires fixed phone lines from one place to another.
